Building a healthcare technology CEO's standing with UAE hospital leaders on data exchange

Respected at home, unknown in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. A stated thesis on health data exchange, carried on platforms only a CEO commands, makes the CEO's name known.

  1. Challenge

A respected CEO at home, unknown to UAE hospital group leaders.

  2. Approach

A thesis on health data exchange, carried through panels, bylines and authority working groups.

  3. Result

A CEO whose view hospital leaders know before the first sales meeting.

The situation

Healthcare technology companies entering the UAE often bring a CEO with standing at home and no profile in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. Hospitals there must connect to the emirates' health information exchanges, Malaffi and NABIDH, and keep patient data in the country. Many treat connection as an IT compliance task, leaving open whether clinicians actually use the shared record. Until the CEO has a credible view on that gap, outreach arrives from a name nobody there can place.

The question that mattered

What should the CEO argue about health data exchange, and where will target hospital leaders hear it?

What we did

  1. 1

    Research the local conversation

Study what group CEOs, CIOs and chief medical officers debate on exchange connection, in-country data storage and clinician workload, from authority circulars to trade press.

  2. 2

    State the executive thesis

Agree the argument: an exchange connection is a compliance cost until shared records appear where clinicians already work. The company's clinical lead reviews it.

  3. 3

    Build the content system

Turn the thesis into bylines, articles, panel talking points and working-group contributions, drafted with support and signed off by the CEO.

  4. 4

Place the CEO where only a CEO is heard

Secure regional health-IT panel seats, trade-press bylines and contributions to health-authority industry sessions and working groups on data-sharing standards, chosen by which target groups' leaders attend or read them.

What we delivered

The evidence and working documents the team kept.

  • Map of local debate on exchange connection and data residency
  • CEO thesis statement and core themes, clinically reviewed
  • Editorial calendar of bylines and articles tied to target hospital groups
  • Shortlist of panels, trade titles and working groups, ranked by target-account reach
  • Panel talking points and a working-group contribution template

The outcome

CEO thesis

stated plainly and reviewed by the clinical lead

The CEO

accepts panels and bylines only where target groups' leaders attend or read

Sellers

open priority accounts with the CEO's latest byline or panel remarks

Health-authority working groups

hear the data-exchange thesis from the CEO directly

Meetings with group chief executives and CIOs now open on how their clinicians use the shared record, a question the CEO has argued in public.

What changed in the GTM motion

Executive visibility is now a line in the market-entry account plan. A monthly CEO and sales-lead review picks the next panel, byline or working group from the target-account list, and sellers receive each piece on publication.
